Grants are normally given for repairs to the fabric only.   Sorry, the Trust cannot assist with re-orderings, organ repairs or redecoration. But we are open to a good argument if you want to try us!

As well as making grants from our own funds we can make recommendations to the National Churches Trust for further grants.

In the financial year April 2025 to  April 2026 we supported the following churches with grants. In total the grants came to £26,755 .

In 2026 we continue to support the five rural churches which have an annual maintenance grant for an initial trail of 3 years.  The scheme lays on a contractor who will do a maintenance job twice a year – gutters, drains, slipped tiles and such.  He also reports to the PCC if he finds any major issues they might need to tackle.

At present the churches in the scheme are:

Elkstones : Wychnor: Bobbington : Rushton Spencer: Ellenhall 

Alrewas All Saints have recently repaired part of the roof of the church building and we supported them with a grant.
